Following a request for support, BSAP engaged in a design & build brief for the full MEP services provision for this re development project. The existing office building in the North West of England had been acquired and required modernisation to deliver increased rental income to this established asset group.
Our role is to develop in conjunction with the other members of the client team a refurbishment strategy to update this 1980’s commercial development on floors 2&3 to also include a new reception area and to ensure this facility meets modern day requirements.
The proposal is based to Stage C status and allows the clients PQS practice to source a competitive priced solution, with our scope of works being:
Survey of Existing systems
Strategic option schedule of services fully costed
Performance Specification and MEP cost plan
Evaluate Contractors Tender Return
Review Contractors Design proposals
We are also commissioned to support the on-going development programme via regular meetings and site inspections to ensure compliance and quality is achieved.
The project has been competitively tendered and contractors appointed within 2.5% of the Budget established at concept stage. The project was successfully completed and is currently being marketed.
